Working With Us

How we work, and what it's like working with us

Joe Wilson

Hi there. Thanks for considering working with us!

All our jobs are 100% remote. You set your own work schedule and hours and work anywhere with an internet connection. We're looking for about 40 hours a week and for people who are available during business hours.

We believe in:

  • Writing quality code that is easy to maintain. We make code improvements and refactor as we go. We create tests first, or at least alongside, the code we write.
  • Continuous, transparent communication. We keep an up-to-date online task board with stories, who is working on what, and our progress. We communicate as needed via Slack, Skype, email, and phone.
  • Continuous delivery of working software. Continuous delivery of working software. Every code check in produces a new release of the application that can be demoed to the team and client stakeholders.

We treat our developers well. But don't just take our word for it. Read the Glassdoor reviews of what it's like working with Volare Software.

Full-Stack Web Developer (.NET, JavaScript, Kendo UI, SQL), 100% Remote
100% Remote 12+ Months Contract .NET Core C# EF Core SQL Server REST APIs JavaScript Kendo UI Git Jira Microsoft Teams Scrum

Come work with us helping one of our premier clients on a long-term contract!

We are looking for a full-stack web developer with 5+ years of experience for a 12+ month (extensions likely), 40 hrs/week contract starting immediately. The work is 100% remote for an end customer based in California.

We need a web developer who has worked extensively with .NET (Framework or Core) and JavaScript (modern syntax). This project and future projects with this client will also use Kendo UI extensively, so deep experience with the jQuery version of these tools is required.

For data access, we are building REST APIs in C# and accessing a SQL Server database via EF Core, so experience with these tools is also required. EF migrations experience is helpful.

We are using GitHub as a git source code repository, Jira for managing tasks, Jenkins and Urban Code Deploy for CI/CD, and Microsoft Teams for communication. The development process is scrum. Experience with these tools and processes is preferred, but similar experience is OK, too.

You must be a U.S. citizen (client requirement). You must be willing to undergo a background check if hired.

To apply, send your resume, why you're a good fit, and your hourly corp-to-corp contract rate to
