Joe brings 30+ years of experience in software development, including 25+ years consulting and 20+ years leading and managing development teams. He has worked on and led successful projects for organizations like the U.S. Air Force, AT&T, Rabobank, Kaiser Permanente, Dell, 3M, Jeffco Public Schools, the State of Texas, and more.
He is used to fast-paced coding, changing requirements, and high expectations. He can run the entire project, manage the development team, or roll up his sleeves as an individual contributor.
Joe has expertise in C# .NET, ASP.NET (20+ years), SQL Server (25+ years), Azure (10+ years), and Azure DevOps (5+ years). His current favorite tools include C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, Azure, and Kanban.
Beyond technical expertise, Joe specializes in building and leading high-performing teams. He recruits top talent, fosters team-wide consensus on coding practices, tools, and architecture decisions, and instills a sense of ownership that drives the team to deliver on customer priorities.
